Woohoo! My second post.....

Okay, I know this has been a long time coming, but I am a master procrastinator and guess I've just made peace with that.

So the holidays whizzed by in a blur.  I had a lot of fun.  I managed to get together with old friends before going out of town for Christmas.  Erica, Kerri and I went out to grab lunch and stopped off to browse in the Mississippi district.  The shops there are super cool.  A little on the spendy side for this cheapskate... oh well, still lots of fun to window shop.  I took a bunch of pictures with my camera phone.  They didn't come out super awesome, but they'll do.

neat box cards... i fell in love with these

good christ, this place made me want to have a baby to dress in all these cutie pie items.....

My dear friend, Kerri modeling wedding dresses (i agreed to crop the photo before using it here).  The lucky girl is getting married in 2009 in Hawaii.  Congrats to her and Mark!

some cool glasses... they'd be perfect for my big sis

omg.... how cute is this ornament....

ANYWAY, i'm easily distracted.... so, yeah there were some sweet pics from Christmas in Vancouver, BC.

I went to zoo lights before I left.  I had planned on going with friends and the weather was iffy and they bailed.  I knew I wouldn't get a chance to go again before I left, so I went by myself.  I never really do that, but had a good time.  I wandered around in the dark, looking at all the cool lights and listening to my ipod (Less than Jake, of course).   Unfortunately most of my pics from the zoolights excursion didn't turn out very well.  Kind of a bummer, really, but that's how it is sometimes.

I have a new "hangout" these days, Tugboat Brewing Co.  It's right downtown, like, a door down from Mary's Club.  I met the bartender on a pub crawl early in December and
have made visiting once a week or so a part of my routine.  It's a fun place to take pictures from the bar.  For those of you who know me, hanging out at a bar is really not something I do often, so it's been interesting becoming a "regular".

SO... I've been meaning to post this for a while now.... just kept putting it off.

I've been home a lot lately, not really going out much.  I've been broke (a normal
"after-holidays" state for me) and I have a few projects I've been working on.
I'll scan them soon and post some up here.  In case anyone's been wondering,
I have been productive, just not taking as many photos as I usually do.
I'll try and post blogs here more often.  Just a slacker that way, I guess.

I have about a million thoughts a day that I truly think about posting,
but most of that is just fluff, so it's probably best that I don't post EVERYTHING
I think about.....

Tonight, I caught Family Guy.... it was a good episode.  I laughed out loud while working on the Dusty's project.

I also watched the news, which I never do.... and there was an adorable story about a baby polar bear that was rescued (in Germany, I think) from it's mother (who had killed another of her cubs
**sad**).
OMG... the pictures were sooooo cute.  Of course, I love any baby animals,
but polar bear babies are extra cute.  I found a cute picture of the baby
online.  They don't know the sex yet, because the sexual organs haven't
developed yet and they don't have a name for the little one yet.

My official "Creative/Business Blog"...

Hello all,
Yep, this is my "official" creative business blog.

I will use this blog to keep everyone posted of my creative stuff.

I have made cards and scrapbooked for at least ten years and have recently taken the step to have a website (that my dear sister built for me) and offer my services to the general public.  My hope is to have a little side business doing what I LOVE.  I'm in between day jobs right now.  I usually work in an office environment.

Of course, I will try and update this often, but I will be the first to admit I am horrible at consistently updating my blog.  Well, I'm going to make a concerted effort to change that about myself.  I'm getting motivated and hopefully that motivation will give me the "boost" I need to add creations and updates on a regular basis.

Any feedback is appreciated (re: blogging, business, my work, whatever). I've started a blog more than once over the years and just haven't really kept it up.

Of course, when I'm not busy being a social butterfly or creating, I will add blurbs about what's going on with "House of Scrap" and post pictures of my work.
